EPS Raster Headers
A raster header gives a low-resolution representation of the actual EPS contents when placed within a document. When an EPS is generated with no header, it displays as a gray box with a text description at the top left corner.
TIFF is the most widely used and reliable type. It gives a low-resolution colour image that approximates the actual EPS.
EPSI is only black and white and is not recognized by many packages.
